Allocations Process

LPG issues allocation dates to products with confirmed release dates, on which we are oversold. On the allocation date, Let's Play Games will review retailer orders and begin the allocation process. Once allocated, you'll be notified by email and can view your allocation under My Allocations. When LPG allocates stock to a retailer, we retain all orders in our system.

e.g.  A retailer orders 100 units from LPG. LPG allocates the retailer 60 units. In LPG's system there will be one sales order for 60 units which is flagged as 'Allocated' and another sales order for 40 units (which is not flagged as 'Allocated'). The retailer can view their allocations live under My Allocations.

Principles LPG uses to allocate:

  • Brick-and-mortar stores receive priority over online-only retailers
  • Organised play venues for the game system receive the highest priority, with a minimum allocation of one case per qualified OP store
  • Let's Play Partners receive preference over non-partners
  • Orders placed before the product's Order By Date receive more product
  • A store's purchase history of similar products is taken into account during the allocation process
  • We allocate in case quantities when possible
  • We want to supply stock to as many brick-and-mortar stores as possible
