Warmachine Direct Crucible Guard Combat Alchemists
The sizzle of acid eating through armor and the roar of pyrophoric charges from grenades and rocket shells—these are the sounds that accompany the Crucible Guard in battle. From its headquarters in the Midfast Foundry, and from hundreds of smaller laboratories across Ord, Llael, and Cygnar, the Order’s alchemists tirelessly invent new weapons for a formidable arsenal.
Combat alchemists are junior alchemists with proper combat training, carrying specialised alchemical grenades for a wide range of targets. Trained in pathfinding and skirmish warfare, they are often deployed ahead of the main army to neutralise dangerous positions such as artillery emplacements or munitions stores.
When the shooting stops, they also support the Guard’s medical corps and munition officers to keep essential supplies moving when it matters most.
